Welcome to the Spring 23 Semester.  For some of you, this may be your first semester of college, while for others, it may be your last semester at Cerritos College.

Regardless of where you on your academic journey, I believe it is important to have an a plan in place to be successful.  The plan looks different for everyone, but I’d like to know – what is your plan to make be successful at Cerritos College?  And I’m not talking about the “I’m going to do well in school and soccer” type of answer – what are your SPECIFC plans to be successful at Cerritos????

In the short term, success for me would look like maintaining a high GPA, staying organized and on top of my assignments, and building connections with my classmates and professors. In the medium to long term, success for me would involve graduating with honors, securing a relevant internship or job opportunity, and continuing to develop my skills and knowledge in my chosen field of study.

In order to achieve my successes, I will focus on setting clear and achievable goals, developing and maintaining a consistent study routine, networking and building relationships with professionals in my field, and actively seeking out opportunities for growth and development. I will also make sure to prioritize self-care and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
