- The author places the issue in a broad context if they provide a comprehensive understanding of the problem, including its history, causes, impacts, and relevant social, economic, and political factors. This helps readers to understand the context and implications of the issue.
- Tunnel vision refers to a narrow perspective that disregards other points of view or information. To determine if the author suffers from tunnel vision, look for evidence of the author presenting a one-sided or incomplete view of the issue and ignoring or disregarding alternative perspectives.
