SOLUTION

The school setting is a high school in a suburban area with diverse students. The school has been experiencing an increase in disciplinary issues, such as bullying, harassment, and fighting, which disrupt the learning environment and affect student safety. These problems have been attributed to the breakdown of communication and trust among students and between students and staff. The current approach to these problems is punitive, with students who violate school rules receiving suspensions or expulsions. While this approach may deter some students from engaging in misbehavior, it does not address the root causes of the problem, and it may further alienate students from the school community.
