This article examines the challenges and opportunities of cultural diversity management in public administration in Ethiopia. The purpose of the study is to explore the perceptions and attitudes of public administrators towards cultural diversity and its management. The study is based on a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews with 15 public administrators in Addis Ababa. The findings indicate that public administrators have limited understanding and sensitivity towards cultural diversity management, and there is a lack of institutional support and policy guidelines in this regard. The study concludes by recommending the need for a cultural diversity policy framework and institutional support for its implementation.
