The article by Weng and colleagues (2021) aims to investigate the potential health effects of probiotics in preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD) and Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) among hospitalized patients. The study included 34 randomized controlled trials involving a total of 6,181 participants.
