This exercise provides students with the opportunity to examine and evaluate their own, unique constellation of values. In doing so, students can gain additional insights into how and why the view the world in the way they do.
Students will use the provided Values Assessment worksheet to complete the exercise. Both a Word document and a PDF are provided in the module, and students can choose to use whichever works best for them. Students will find detailed instructions on how to complete this assignment in the accompanying PowerPoint located in the module. Using this PowerPoint as a guide, students will fully complete each section of the values assessment as well as provide thoughtful, well-written responses to the provided questions.
This exercise can be be done by typing into the Word document (sometimes this creates issues with the formatting, so trying it out first and see if it works for you) or by printing off the PDF, filling in by hand, and scanning it back in for the submission. Again, do what works best for you. Both methods are fine.
This assignment is worth up to 20 points. Submissions will be graded on whether the assessment is thoroughly completed, and the quality and thoughtfulness of the responses.
