I think we all know someone who can make our favorite dish or meal better than any restaurant on Earth.

Pick a dish that fits this situation. What have you had at home or at someone’s dining table that simply puts the restaurant to shame.

Be sure to set some criteria for your analysis (for instance taste, texture, aroma, moisture, flavor, spice). Try to find some support for your choice (a bad Yelp review for the very dish you are critiquing; a quote from your cousin who says, “We should eat Grandma’s _________ for the rest of our lives”).
